A project initiated by the Colours of Courage Trust, Trail is a 670km walk to symbolize the courage and unity of our island nation Sri Lanka, a trek from the Southern point of Dondra to the Northern tip of the island, Point Pedro. Founded in 2008, the Colours of Courage Trust is a not-for-profit organization addressing the growing needs of infrastructure to treat cancer in Sri Lanka. Previous projects of the Colours of Courage Trust were centered around the National Cancer Institute in Maharagama, the only cancer treatment facility for the whole of Sri Lanka, and the patients entrusted to its care. The Colours of Courage Trust is currently in the process of constructing a brand new Medical Intensive Care Unit at the National Cancer Institute in Maharagama.
